This privacy policy is applicable to the Healthy Kids BMI app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by RenegadoDev (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") as an Ad-Supported service. This service is provided "AS IS".


Information We Collect and How We Use It


Our Application is designed to be simple and secure. We handle two types of information:


1. Information You Provide (Stored Locally on Your Device)

When you use the Application, you enter information such as weight, height, age, and gender to calculate the Body Mass Index (BMI). This information, along with the calculation result, can be saved to a history log.

  • This data is stored exclusively on your own device. We do not have access to it, nor is it transmitted to our servers.

  • You have full control over this data. You can delete individual history records or the entire history at any time from within the Application.

  • Uninstalling the Application will also permanently delete all saved history data from your device.

  • We do not require you to register or provide any personal contact information (like name or email address) to use the Application.


2. Automatically Collected Information (for Ads and Analytics)

The Application uses third-party services (like Google AdMob) that may collect anonymous information automatically to provide advertisements and help us improve the service. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • The type of mobile device you use and its unique device ID.

  • The IP address of your mobile device.

  • Your mobile operating system.

  • Information about the way you use the Application.


This data is aggregated and anonymized and does not personally identify you.


Children's Privacy

This Application is intended for use by parents and guardians to calculate and track the BMI of their children (ages 5 to 15).

  • We understand the importance of protecting children's privacy. The Application is designed to be compliant with child privacy regulations like the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The data entered (weight, height, age, gender) is not linked to a name, photo, or contact information and is stored only on the user's device.

  • The third-party advertising services we use (Google AdMob) are configured to comply with Google Play's "Designed for Families" policies, which helps ensure that the ads shown are appropriate for a general audience.

  • If you are a parent or guardian and believe we may have inadvertently collected information in a way that is not compliant with this policy, please contact us immediately at renegadostudio@gmail.com so we can take the necessary actions.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application simply by uninstalling it. As all the health data you provide is stored locally, uninstalling the app will remove it permanently.

We are committed to protecting your information. While the health data is stored on your device, we and our third-party partners use reasonable measures to safeguard the automatically collected anonymous data.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

By using the Application, you consent to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. "Processing" includes the collection and handling of anonymous data by our third-party partners for the purpose of serving ads and improving our service.
